Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira (born May 26 1977) was born in Campinas, So Paulo. She is known as an actress in Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009) and A Indomada (1997). Ana Paula Oliveira joined the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime in March 2020. She currently manages the Assassination Witness Project, which is a major part of GI-TOC's multilateral involvement. In her work with GI TOC, she focuses on the assassination of people - which includes disappearances - and violence of other types in the context of illicit economies. Apart from organized crime, her research is focused on human rights implications as well as international human rights law. Ana Paula has an LL.M. cum ex laude (with distinction) with honors International Law from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva. Additionally, she holds an LL.M. and MBA in International Relations from Fundacao Getulio Vargas. Ana Paula has a bachelor degree in Legal and Social Sciences from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. After working for a four-year time at an international law firm, she's qualified as lawyer. In the past, she has also worked for non-governmental organizations that have their headquarters at Rio de Janeiro.
