Sara Eisen

SaraSara Aliza Eisen, an American television journalist, is currently affiliated with CNBC. She is a co-anchor for CNBC's shows 'Squawkon on the Street' as well as Closing Bell'. While she's an Ohioan however, she was not interested in the world of markets or currency during her time in college. While she was studying at New York University, she completed an internship at the start-up site ForexTV.com. This was where she gained her first exposure to business news. She later earned an advanced degree in broadcast journalism at Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. After that, she did an eight-month internship at Bloomberg TV in Hong Kong. She returned to the USA and joined Bloomberg's New York office. In the end, she was a anchor for a TV show. CNBC hired her in December 2013 to be a reporter. Eisen has been co-anchor for 'Worldwide exchange' and 'Power Lunch' before landing the position on "Closing Bell in the year 2018. Eisen has been co-anchoring "Squawk on the Street" since 2014. She is one of the most well-known business journalists of the present. Since joining CNBC her main attention has been on the global news for consumers.
