
Drew Blythe Barrymore (born February 22nd, 1975)[1] is an American actor as well as a producer, director, talk show host and writer. A member of the Barrymore family of actors, she has been awarded several awards and nominations such as the Golden Globe Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award, along with nominations for an British Academy Film Award and seven Emmy Awards. In 2004 she was given an honorary star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Her breakout role in E.T. made her a known name in the world of acting for children. the Extra-Terrestrial. After a troubled childhood that included alcohol and drugs addiction, she wrote Little Girl Lost, an autobiography. She was a part of numerous films that had a lot of success during the 1990s to 2000s, such as Charlie's Angels. Barrymore appeared alongside Adam Sandler in three films The Wedding Singer, 50 First Dates and Blended. Other films she's been a part of in include Firestarter and Donnie Darko. In Whip It, her directorial debut film, she starred. Grey Gardens won her a Screen Actors Guild Award as in addition to a Golden Globe Award. She was a prominent character on Netflix's Santa Clarita Diet. She is currently hosting The Drew Barrymore Show, an NBC-owned talk-show.
